In my GNS3 ISE lab, the Windows 2016 AD Server had expired the 180 days trial license. This can be extended for another 180 days quite easily.
Open PowerShell and run
slmgr -dlv
slmgr -rearm
Restart the machine and check the license has been refreshed.
slmgr -dli
